Field experience and technology
SkaLean is led by two complementary co-founders.
Business strategy, commercial development, and go-to-market. Abla knows SMB realities from having supported them in the field for over 10 years. She bridges the gap between the real needs of organizations and the technology SkaLean builds.
From a family of entrepreneurs in Morocco, Abla grew up immersed in the SMB world. After 11 years of engineering at Hitachi Energy and ABB, she chose to apply that rigor in service of business leaders who lack access to the same tools as large corporations.
Saad designed and built the entire SkaLean platform. PhD in electrical engineering, AI lecturer at Polytechnique Montreal, ETS, and Universite de Sherbrooke. He transforms 10 years of research into concrete, secure tools for SMBs.
While supporting SMBs with third-party tools for 18 months, Saad witnessed the limits: non-sovereign data, fragmented tools, no sector-specific customization. He decided to build the platform no existing vendor offered.
Abla brings 10 years of field experience with SMBs. Saad brings 10 years of AI research. Together, they are building the solution they wished had existed.
